Usually, I say that in the most trying-to-convince-myself and wishful way.
Because Mondays usually suck.
Today doesn't suck. That's because today is President's Day, that beloved generic US holiday celebrating presidents good and bad, which is to say that it's a day off from work, and I do love me a good day off from work. And I especially love when that day off is a Monday! :)
In commemoration of all things non-sucky, and in recognition that spring is just around the corner (YAY!!!), I give you a pretty mani to jump start your week....
OPI My Favorite Year is from the brand's Summer 2011 Miss Universe Collection, and until recently, this pretty lacquer sat in my "pink polish box", unused and ignored. That's before I began swatching said collection of colors, and noticed how deep a romantic connection it has with Butter London's dusty green and copper-speckled Two-Fingered Salute.
Houston, I do believe we have a match made in heaven, and yes...that's another bizarre mixed metaphor. A present. Just for you.
Both polishes applied beautifully. No fuss. No muss. Two coats to opacity.
Just look at these two lacquers, siding up so sweetly next to each other. Mark my words: they've got a serious thing going on.

I love two fingered salute, it's so pretty!! I just got my first BL's and they are gorge!! I totally forget the names, but I'll be sure to do a mani with them soon!! I think might start calling you the BL Queen.....
